Artistic Practice

During the 2000s, I developed my practice within the visual arts and became actively involved in the Dutch street artscene. Until around 2013, I was primarily active within this scene participating in exhibitions and contributing to various art projects and cultural events. During this period, I took part in numerous exhibitions, including presentations at Galerie Punct in Tilburg and Galerie Mama in Rotterdam. I also participated in a variety of art and cultural events in the Netherlands and abroad, including a large international art festival in Regensburg, Germany. Alongside my own artistic practice, I was for many years a co-organiser, together with our art collective Napalmed, of the open-air garden studio during the Kunsttour Maastricht. Over the years, this location grew into one of the event’s well-known and popular highlights.

Moonshine Tattoo Parlour

In 2014, I co-founded Moonshine Tattoo Parlour in Herentals, Belgium, together with my wife. Driven my passion for tattooing, my focus gradually shifted from painting towards the tattoo profession. Moonshine Tattoo Parlour has remained my professional base ever since.

Returning to Painting

Around five years ago, I began painting intensively again. What started as a return to an old passion has since grown into an important part of my artistic practice once more. Since then, I have been working extensively on developing my own body of paintings, further shaping my visual language through the experience I have gained over the past decades in both the visual arts and the tattoo world. 2026 Marks the beginning of a new chapter: I am once again fully focused on presenting my paintings and ready to return to the exhibition circuit. In 2026, I participated in group exhibitions at De Zwendel and BiAF, both in Antwerp.
